My name is Derek and my wife and I signed up for Christian Health Ministries in December 2014. We have a 3.5 year old boy named Elijah, a daughter named Emmeline and a new one on the way due December 2017!

I'm self employed and my wife is a stay-at-home mother. She worked as a NICU nurse for many years until shortly after we moved to Florida. Because I'm self employed our only option for health insurance was ObamaCare until we found another option called Christian Health Care. This blog will be about our experiences with an alternative to traditional health insurance and in the end we hope that our experience will help you and your family.
